I can't even begin to tell you how fun this project was! We did this room as a surprise make-over ambush for an amazing young lady's 13th birthday. The goal was to take her room from “tween” to “bohemian chic”…in 8 hours and $500.00!
After
We got creative with her wood paneled walls and used the lines to our benefit to create these bold stripes. The night stands were found at a consignment store and spray painted white. We ordered the inexpensive bed base off the internet, and I made the headboard out of MDF and some cheap white vinyl. All the accessories were either thrift store finds or made (except for the lamps). It turned out bright, fun, and funky, just like my client. And boy, was she surprised!
